The shortest day of the year, the Winter Solstice, will soon be arriving. I can’t wait for that to come — it’s increasingly getting more difficult to get up in the dark for work in the mornings. Neither is it fun going home from work in the darkness and cold :P As I wait for the days to lengthen (and hence allow more time for photography), I will be looking through some of the pictures that I took earlier this year in the UK. Here’s one that I took at the Salford Quays Millennium footbridge in Manchester earlier in September.
