Of Baskets and Nets

We travelled quite a fair distance during our one-week holiday (last month) of Scotland, travelling from Glasgow, to the Isle Of Skye, to Inverness and the Black Isle, and hence forth towards Aberdeen, Saint Andrews and Edinburgh before return back to Glasgow.

Caught this picture at Stonehaven en route to Saint Andrews and Aberdeen. I’m not exactly sure what these nets and baskets are used for (catching seafood maybe?), but their interesting colours against the black of a barn door caught my eye. Their arrangement, together with the other elements in the shot (the window at the top right, the rod with the dangling rope, as well as the touch of green provided by the patch of grass) created an interesting collage for this image.
