These concrete cylinders are being used to construct the Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway, which when completed, will be the longest underground expressway in South East Asia. I first noticed these cylinders by the Pan-Island Expressway more than a month ago and have been hoping to catch some pictures of them. I finally found the time to visit the site with Dad yesterday morning. Thankfully enough, the site is open to easy access and not boarded up like most construction sites are 🙂 On a different note, my dad has posted some new pictures taken with the Leica Digital Module-R from his recent trip to Shanghai. Do take a look at his site for some samples of what the DMR is capable of. I think Dad is happy with his transition from film to digital 🙂
