Twilight Over The Clyde Arc

Twilight Over The Clyde Arc
I have just gotten back earlier this week from a trip to Glasgow and London with some new photos to share ๐Ÿ˜€

This was taken on the Clyde Arc in Glasgow. We originally set off on a evening trip to capture the night scenery along the River Clyde at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC). While waiting for twilight to arrive, we were caught more by the imposing sight of the Clyde Arc bridge instead. Twilight came a little late though since it’s summer (almost at midnight) by which time we were literally freezing in the cold! However, the final shot I got was certainly rewarding for the trouble we went through ๐Ÿ™‚

As an aside, I last visited the same area in 2004. At the time, the Clyde Arc wasn’t even built yet!

  1. Lovely. I thought it was a stunning shot although i prefer the skies to be slightly more lit (maybe a few minutes earlier would be nice). =) more!

  2. Thanks jcyrhs ๐Ÿ™‚ Do take a look at the later version I posted up (sans light trials) for a comparison ๐Ÿ™‚
