Colours Of The Newlands Valley

We had much difficulty finding overnight accommodation at Keswick in the Cumbrian Lake District during our weekend stay and decided to take a chance by choosing a farm stay at Gill Brow Farm. The farm was a little difficult to locate even with the help of our little GPS unit and the roads leading to it weren’t exactly easy to travel. It was fortunate that we stayed there though, for on our way to Lake Buttermere the next day, we passed by the beautiful landscape of the Newlands Valley. I caught this picture stopping at one of the rest areas along the route to Buttermere.
