The richness of raining clouds prior to the thunderstorm was rather amazing on 16 02 2022 at the Upper Peirce Reservoir. I decided to shoot in monochrome format to achieve maximum impact of tonal range. The grainy appearance of the image is intentional in order to enhance the quality of texture.
Another image of Mr. Lee Kwan Yew visiting Pasir Panjang in early sixties. The man in front of the image was Late Tan Song Teng, a photojournalist from Nanyang Siang Pau.
In commemorating Mr Lee Kwan Yew’s 100th birth anniversarv, I share with you an image captured by me in the early sixties while Mr. Lee was visiting the Pasir Panjang constituency. He was warmly welcomed and greeted by the students of Pasir Panjang Primary School in the kampong opposite where I was staying. Unfortunately I do not have the exact date of the visit.
