To me, a visit to Keukenhof, Netherlands for one full day is not too bore. The image shown here appears that the garden is so deserted. In actual fact, the garden is flooded with tourist through out the day. I captured this scene almost at the end of the day.

A scene not to be missed when you visit Keukenhof, Netherlands. The farm of flowers from a near distance is just simply gorgeous.

For years, I have been fancied of seeing a flower show in Netherlands. Finally, we decided to visit Keukenhof, Holland for the annual flower show. I captured this close up of tulip with a pedal has fallen off. This gave me an opportunity of showing the stigma, filaments, anther of the flower. This condition of a flower reminds me of my dissection lesson of my botany. The other lovely attraction of this image is the lighting conditions that lighted up the features of the flower.

I captured this amazing view from the top of the Rabo Earthwalk of the Floriade 2012, Netherlands. The calm water of the pond gave me an opportunity of having an unusual image of the reflection of the sky and the trees. I purposely include the front portion on the green into the image as an indication of earth. This is one of my favorite images of my latest collection of my recent trip to Netherlands and UK.

Nowadays, to capture an image of Fire Dance at Uluwatu,Bali, without the tourist is almost impossible. I decided to use the tourist as a backdrop instead. I was fortunate to synchronize the shutter speed with the flash light fired by the tourist. The lighting from the flash unit have created a back lit effect for this image. I like the difference in white balance of the various light source that provided me with the colour contrast. The result is a different approach of capturing another image of ” Fire Dance”.
