Another picture from my recent trip to London… The girl in the bright pink anorak caught my eye and I just had to take this picture quickly before the moment passed. The GX7, equipped with a wide-angle prime, provided the right “stealth capability” for me to snap this shot street-photography-style as I walked by, without putting my eye to the viewfinder or rear LCD.
Having lived and worked there for a year, London will always have a special place in my heart. The above picture was taken at South Bank on my most recent trip to London two weeks ago. The spot, which is just next to the London Eye Pier, is one of my favourite spots for candid photography in London.
Sincere apologies for the lack of updates for the last couple of months as parenthood demands full-time involvement. I have certainly taken lots of pictures of our newborn but they will remain out of public view on this blog for now. The above candid was taken during a work trip to Sydney, Australia. Having only an afternoon off in one whole week of intense work, I made the best of the dull weather the day had to offer before I made myself home the next day.
