Give Me A Sign
I have been wanting to get good glass at a focal length of 300mm for quite some time, especially after I moved up to full-frame with the 5D Mark III — the absence of the focal length “multipler” effect meant that I no longer have the reach I used to have with my older DSLRs. I finally got that “dream-lens” yesterday. Venturing out to the Marina Barrage for some pictures this morning, I caught sight of this lone heron by the pier at the reservoir. The longer reach of the lens certainly came in useful 🙂
Reach For The Sky
The tortoises at the Singapore Botanical Gardens put up a good show for me a few weeks ago when I went for a photo-walk, especially this one who was perched in a most attention-seeking manner! 😛
