Check Out Those Chicks!

I have always loved the high angles and refreshing perspective that I can inject into my pictures taken at the Tekka Market in Singapore. When rain decided to make a bad day for outdoor photography in my recent outing, I decided to head back once again to Tekka Market for some indoor shots. Adopting a slightly different approach this time, I used a long exposure to capture the movement of the bustling crowd. The above is a result of a montage of two pictures and some post-processing work done in Photoshop. Hope you can make out the chick(en)s on sale at this picture size.

Thanks to dearest CY for brainstorming on the picture title! 🙂

Pick A Crab… Any Crab

One of my favouite markets in Singapore for candid pictures must be the Tekka Market in Little India. The second floor balcony provides a good vantage point to capture bustling scenes with a different but yet interesting perspective. This particular picture was taken a year ago. I made a visit to Tekka Market yesterday again (my original destination was the Botanical Gardens, but that was given up because of the horribly bad weather!), but was unable to capture something new.
