Indeed, durians are a favourite among Singaporeans. Imported from neighbouring Malaysia and Thailand, the pungent fruit is sold in abundance in the Geylang area from roadside stalls. I decided to pay a visit to the area yesterday. Lighting was soft and flat unfortunately (as it has been of late because of the arriving rainy season).
