Compared to my previous visits, I wasn&#8217;t able to find colourful dragonflies or damselflies for macro-photography. In the end, I experimented with one that was perched on a twig in the distance, using the nearer stalks of grass (thrown out of focus by a shallow depth of field) to frame the composition in an almost abstract way.
