\nA very Happy New Year to everyone \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Although we did not manage to make it down to the Esplanade waterfront<\/a> for the New Year countdown (we weren’t brave enough to face the crowds), we did manage to catch the gorgeous fireworks display from the Marina Park instead (pictures to follow soon). After the display, we decided to try out another sort of “lightshow” of our own; I have seen such “sparkler” shots before but have not yet had the chance to try taking them myself. Using a ten-second exposure, two separate shots of “Happy” and “2006” were made. These have been combined for our New Year greeting to you.
