This impressive display of clouds was taken  at <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Lake_Pukaki\">Lake Pukaki<\/a> while on our way to <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Mount_Cook_Village\">Mount Cook Village<\/a> (you can see Mount Cook in the background here). A polarizing filter helped to increase the overall saturation in the skies while the turquoise-blue of the lake was a result of natural <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Glacial_flour\">glacial or rock flour<\/a>.
