Due to many trips to aboard, I have not been to Botanical Gardens for a while.
I decided to make a trip to the Gardens this morning. Though the weather was cloudy, I managed to gain a fruitful result. I like this image mainly because of the colour contrast and the lighting ratio. Without these elements, I think the visual impact will not be that great.
At Sun Moon Lake, along the Han Bi pedestrian path, is one of vantage point for capturing sunrise image. We spent one night around this area in order to achieve our goal. True enough, though the sunrise here was not that spectacular due to weather condition, the peacefulness of the Lake in the early hours of the day was really worth waiting.
I captured this night scene around Chinese New Year this year. It is a matter of time, this scene will disappear from the skyline of Singapore. The paper has just announced that this area will be affected by the redevelopment of the National Stadium. Hopefully, by then we will get another spectacular view of our fast changing skyline. Until then, we have to capture some of the disappearing landscape of Singapore as soon as possible.
