This is another blue diazo bias relief colour derivation slide from my collection. Simplicity and good composition are the highlights of this image. The colour further enhanced the visual impact of the slide. This example illustrates how an outstanding image can be created out of an ordinary scene in daily life. It was awarded a PSA Gold Medal for the Best Contemporary Slide of the Show in the 3rd Red River International Salon, Canada in 1983. This is one of the National Gallery, Singapore, Permanent Collections.

If candid photography is your cup of tea, then the opportunity of capturing such image is endless. This is an image that was photographed at one of Hari Raya prayer sessions. The touch of human interest is an important element of the entire image. The cyan bias relief treatment is just to enhance the visual impact further. This is a Gold Medal winning slide from the 34th International El Camino Real International Salon, USA in 1981.
