The calm morning at the Lower Seletar Reservoir on 16 01 2023 was ideal for a dragon boat training session. From my vantage angle, I carefully selected my perspective and waited for the happening of the event. This is a kind of image that you may have to anticipate the boat come into the expected location prior you press the shutter. A lovely landscape captured at the right moment.
One of my greatest satisfactions of rising early is to proceed to a reservoir for morning photography session. On 10 01 2023, after a one and half km morning walk finally reached an opening space of the Upper Peirce Reservoir. I was just in time for a morning glory of the day. The soft sun rise matching the amazing pattern of the clouds provided me with an opportunity of capturing a spectacular landscape image. It is a phenomenon that is difficult to come by.
The main attraction of the Changing of the Guards is the orderly manner. From my vantage angle, I decided to capture the image of the troupe in parade. Fortunately, I was able to change the contrast and brightness of the image that I had in mind. The treatment gave a better visual impact for the image. Most importantly, to capture the decisive moment is absolutely important for the whole image.
