Such an image depends very much on the lighting of the highly reflected and your vantage angle. It is not possible to go back to the same location and repeat the same image. Most importantly, the deciding factor of an striking image is on your perception of the action location. This is another image that I capture during my visit to the Canopy Park in the Jewel, Singapore Changi Airport on 12 01 2022.
To me, the basic principles of capturing a striking image are light and shadow, colour and textures. Most importantly, the decisive moment is aptly essential in photography. It is simple to me, to have such perception in capturing an outstanding image. Cropping in composition to suit the image is also another factor of achieving a greater visual impact.
Recognise a building structure with its outstanding pattern and design are the prerequisite of a good image in architecture photography. On top of these stated features, colour and lighting condition certainly is another important factor that contributed to a striking image. My perception of the location finally oriented me to capture this image while I was visiting Birmingham in 2015.
