I came across this beautiful reflection of Shantou, China, on the bonnet of a car outside my apartment. My first impression of this city is a well-developed modern one. Obviously, there is a big difference between the old city area and the newly developed centre.
While I was setting my camera to shoot “Gushing Rapids” at the Firehole River of Yellowstone National Park. I released the shutter when the camera shifting down vertically on the tripod. The end result is a combination of slow shutter with the movement of the camera. To me, the abstract image has an uniqueness of a study of colour and shades.
Heading towards the Great Ocean Road, Australia, we were stopped by the road work. It’s raining cats and dogs. The creative idea strikes my mind. I decided to shoot through the windscreen of the car. The end result is another study of colour illusion for my collections.
