My second visit to Expo 2010 in early September, I decided to book for a dinner show at the Spain Pavilion. By paying RMB$296/-, you could enjoy a Spanish “Tapas” by restarurateur (chef) Pedro Larumbr and a presentation of great artists from Spain. I also had a privilege of entering the Pabellion de Espana without queuing. This is one of the colourful images that I captured during the show.
Capturing the action at the peak is always what a photographer trying to achieve. I think if you managed, the visual impact of the image is certainly boosted. I have toned down a numerous area of this image by using Lightroom 3.2.
Half a century ago, I would never imagine such a task could be achieved by just clicking a mouse without going into the darkroom. I love the the colour and the smoke emitting from the pot of this image too.
田子坊, Tian_Zi_Fang-Shanghai is one of great attractions for photographers because of its uniqueness. But the people there is not that friendly when the camera is aiming at them. My impression is most probably they have been badly disturbed by the tourists without patronized them. As seen here, one of the old folks was trying to avoid being captured by me. Nevertheless, without showing her face, I think the image is still a story-telling picture. I dare not take a 2nd shot. If I did, I would be in trouble! Moreover, I am quite satisfied with this colourful image.
