The first image that I captured when I arrived Hanoi,Vietnam, on 25th May afternoon was this candid shot along the busy road side. The location was within the stone throws from the hotel that I put up. Though the backdrop of the image was as bright as the main subject, I foreseen the possibility of applying the burning in technique for the backdrop. Hence, the result that presented here is to my satisfaction after applying the manipulation.
Most importantly, is the facial expression of the servicing girl and her body language. All these decisive moments contribute to the candid shot that I like.

I think you need only two persons to start gossiping. Over here, five persons are too many to enjoy gossiping. The warmth lighting of the late afternoon sun touched the subjects has given the impact to the image besides the story content. This is an image that I captured during my visit to Mu Cang Chai-Xa Nam Khat, North Vietnam.

A view from the hotel that I was staying gave me an opportunity to capture another image of paddy field. The farmer was ready to get back to work in the rice field in the early morning. To me, the scene has a strong touch of the local favor. Most importantly, is to capture the decisive moment of the happening that enriched with story content. It is one of the photo travel images I would love to capture during my recent trip to Mu Cang Chai-Xa Nam Khat, North Vietnam.
