Keep Clean

Keep Clean
Two years ago, I captured this image on the waterfront overlooks the Rambler Channel and Tsing Ma Bridge Hong Kong. At the first glance, I realized the colour of the cleaner’s attire matched perfectly with the colour of the beach. I fully utilized the colour combination and the interesting pattern formed by the waves to achieve the greatest visual impact. Waited for the right moment before I clicked the shutter.

A Decisive Moment

A Decisive Moment
When the environment is very colourful, the only requirement is to have a patch of white as the colour of main attraction. In this case is the bird in white. I think this is a simple way of capturing an image with strong visual impact. The strong lines and shapes are the important elements of this image as well.
In 2011, I captured this image at Tai O Fishing Village, Hong Kong, while my wife and other members of family were busy shopping.

Recently, while the other half of mine busy shopping for dried seafood at Sheung Wan, Hong Kong, I managed to capture this gorgeous image. You may notice that I used a compact digital for this trip. Obviously, this particular trip was for food and beverage with photography as secondary importance. Nevertheless, I was still very alert when I came across such an opportunity. My advice is never put away your camera.
