This image that I capture at the Island Country Club next to the Upper Peirce Reservoir om 20 11 2023, deliberately breaking the rule of thirds. By placing the tall tree right in the center of the image in balancing the composition was my intention. The end result is well composed image that I had in mind.
On 20 11 2023 at the Upper Peirce Reservoir, my perception was on the lighted wings of the dragonfly. The shape of the wings was pleasing to view from my vantage angle. The bokeh effect of the backdrop further achieved the maximum impact for the image.
The sky above the Upper Peirce Reservoir on 20 11 2023 was bit dull at dawn. Not until
a portion of the cloud was brightened up with orange colour by the rising sun.
Within a split of a second, the visual impact of the image suddenly changed. The spectacular image was captured only when the moment happened.
