“可遇不可求“ （Chinese Idiom: “can be discovered but not sought”）is much appropriate description for such amazing landscape at the Upper Peirce Reservoir on 13 04 2022. You may say that I was fortunate again to encounter such a striking landscape at the Reservoir. I just simply like the tranquillity of the spectacular scene with the touch of colourful rainbow with its reflection.
When I arrived at the Upper Peirce Reservoir on 13 04 2022, I was greeted by the amazing landscape. My record showed that this image was captured at 6:40:06 am. For those of you are technically minded: with the setting of 1/13 sec at f/9.0, ISO25600 on 19mm G Lens on SonyA7RII hand held. My perception of the striking colourful clouds pattern and its reflection triggered me to capture the image. The foggy dawn was another strong attraction for this spectacular landscape image.
The weather at the Upper Peirce Reservoir was not promising on 16 02 2922 morning. But I was satisfied to capture a spectacular image of the sky over there. I admired the richness of the tonal range and decided to capture the image in monochrome format. The idea of capturing such an image may not be very new. But I feel the beauty from my heart.
