Fishing Time

Fishing Time
Breaking the rule of thirds to maximize the perfect composition is not easy sometimes. But for this image that I captured at Kintamani, Bali, Indonesia, I deliberately did it. I think knowing the rule and break it when required can be very effective as shown here. Framing your subject properly is also an essential factor in composition.

Nowadays, aim and shoot is a common method of capturing an image. As long that you could hold your device steadily, you would be able to capture a fairly sharp image even is just using a mobile phone. Who else needs to learning photography in this IT era?
This is an image that I captured during my visit to Shanghai, China in 2010.

Rinse Off

Rinse Off
This is another image that I captured at Sunda Kelapa, Jakarta, Indonesia. Evidently, I was attracted by the strong lines and forms of the setting. The superb lighting condition enhanced the visual impact further. The action of the boatman added as the main interest of the whole image. Actually, these are all the ingredients of an eye catching image.
