From a vantage point, I captured this image with good lighting an colour contrast. To me, simplicity of the setting with strong shapes and lines are essential elements of this image. I composed in a most pleasing way that I liked. The decisive moment of the worker completed the story of the image. This is one of my collections of Ha Long Bay, North Vietnam in 2011. Spending a night on boat and greeted with beautiful scenes early at dawn are my rewards of visiting Ha Long Bay, Vietnem. You may have already seen “Colour Of Ha Long Bay” earlier in my posting.

Best Cycle Lot

Best Cycle Lot
Strolling along the street of Amsterdam, I realized that one of main transports in the city is bicycle. I am not surprise to see a multistory bicycle parking lot in the center of the city. Obviously, the parking facility for bicycle is still not enough for cyclist. Otherwise, the cyclist would not just secured his bike on the railing of a bridge. Or perhaps, this is the best way of parking the bike in this manner to ensure maximum security. Such a scene caught my eye and I think is interesting to have an image. I am particularly like to have a pair of birds soaring into the sky to enhance the visual impact.

Gliding In The Sky

Gliding In The Sky
This image reminds me of “A Silver Lining” posted in 2004. The latest image is much easier to capture. Considering having autofocus and multiple frames per second for my digital camera, I think is an advantage of shooting birds in flight. More over, the gull that soaring for food ‘lock’ the extended wings by means of special tendon is much easier to capture. I am lucky to have a fairly good one to fill up my frame in full. I also think that the saturated blue sky added extra visual impact.
