A visit to the Sade-Rambitan Village, the indigenous people of Lombok, called Sasak people is another unique attraction of Lombok. An image captured six years ago, shows that this village has upgraded to a commercial market instead of the original primitive favor.
It is a pity that the fascinating attraction of original village has lost its glitters.
When you mention Lombok, one of the attractions you may have in mind is a visit to Banyumulek pottery village.
Such a cottage industry is diminishing fast with the development of a place. With an interval of six years since my last visit, fortunately the scene of this village has not changed much. It is a location that a photographer may not like to miss.
My second visit to Tanjung Luar fish market, Lombok, after an interval of six years, turned up to be another fruitful outing. From this colourful image, you could realize how busy is this market in the early morning. To answer a supposedly complicated question of what we should do at a busy market wasn’t complicated at all. In fact, fully utilized the lighting condition to separate the subject of interest from the back drop is a simple solution. I will upload more image of this busy market later at this site.
