Lost Direction

Lost Direction 2006
I captured this image two years ago during my last visit to Mount Bromo, East Java. When we mentioned Mount Bromo, usually we would have a perception of a misty scene with tourists and horses at the location. Besides caturing the usual stuff, I came across this dog wondering about in the misty morning. “Negotiable?” “Magnifient View From Penanjakan” and “Misty Bromo” posted earlier are just some of the images that I captured at the same attraction during my previous trips.

George Square is just within a stone’s throw from the Gallery of Modern Art. At present, the Square is still the centre for mercantile activity. Glasgow’s public statues within the square, display the wealth and history of the city of Glasgow, Scotland. I was attracted by the touch of lighting on one the statues. Waited for the right moment before I clicked the shutter. The warmth colour and unique architectural design of one of the great commercial buildings in the subdued backdrop further enhanced the visual impact. At present, I am back in Glasgow again after my visit one year ago. I will try to visit the Square again to seek new inspiration of this famous location.

Receiving a copy of June issue of Hong Kong e-newsletter, reminds me of the Hong Kong International Dragon Boat Regatta 2008. It is a season for Dragon Boat Festival again.
In Singapore, we don’t have to wait for this season to shoot dragon boat event.
Having the regatta at Boat Quay, Singapore River annually, we do have an opportunity for capturing such a sport activity.
Share with you one of my images that I captured in last November. Apparently, I managed to overcome the shutter lag of a consumer camera.
