The perfect calm water set an ideal condition for a stunning reflection of the gorgeous cloud at the Upper Peirce Reservoir on 18 08 2023. It was one of the phenomena that hard to come by. The striking image of the extraordinary condition was thus captured.
I captured a typical performance of the Māori in New Zealand when I was commissioned then by the New Zealand Tourism Board to shoot images for the “1994 Natas Fair” in Singapore. Somehow, I was not satisfied with the lighting contrast of the image. Recently, I found the image and reprocessed with Lightroom. The result of the processed image appeared to be satisfied with my expectation.
I like the impact of misty phenomenon. On 09 04 2024 at the Upper Peirce Reservoir, I had an opportunity of capturing the beauty of a misty scene. The silhouette as a foreground and the lines formed on the surface of the water are the essential elements of the impact of the image. Most importantly, properly composed is utterly essential for the image.
