While I was capturing Tulips in the Gardens by The Bay two days ago, I accidentally turned the lens out of focus. The result shown here is a patch of colours. I think is another ways of capturing the beauty of flora. It is an abstract image but colourful. Whether you like or not, it is controversial.
“Tulipmania Rediscover” is on. I went to the Gardens by The Bay yesterday. I discover most of the tulips are still yet to bloom. But I was attracted by this gorgeous one hidden among the leaves. I love close up of flowers.
Flora study is simple to capture. But how to isolate the main flowers against the others depends on your own perception, aperture setting (differential focusing) and lighting contrast. These are my main thoughts before I click the shutter.
