Purple Tulips

Purple Tulips
I like to capture the floral parts in close distance. The fully blooming flower gave me such an opportunity to do so. Most importantly, you have to be sure that the depth of field is sufficient to capture the various parts of the flower in extreme sharpness.

Lovely Pink Blossom

Lovely Pink Flag
Another lovely tulips image captured from the Tulipmania 2015, Gardens By The Bay. Once again selective differential focusing plays an important role in capturing this flower with much greater visual impact. It is a very simple approach and yet not easy to apply effectively.

Lighted Bulb

Lighted Bulb
One way to isolate the single bulb of the flower, I think is to apply differential focusing. My 2nd visit to Tulipmania 2015, Gardens By The Bay was slightly late in the morning. Fortunately, the high angle lighting allowed me to isolate the bulb in focus further. More importantly, the water drops from the morning watering session still remained.
