Recently, I went back to Windermere UK. At the end of the day of my visit, I came across this magnificent display. The low lighting condition gave a warmer touch on the lovely feathers of the swan. I love the gracefulness of the swan. It is a common sight at the Windermere, UK, but I think is difficult to capture.
From the window of Eng Loy’s residence in London, I captured this image of the backyard. During my two recent visits within three months, I saw the changes of seasons (winter to spring). The fully blooming tree shows that spring is obviously has arrived. What attracted me was the pair of birds always one follows the other. By observation, I realize that both birds always perched on the same spot.
A closer view of the tulips at Kuekenhof, Netherlands, shows that the flowers are very attractive at different stages of bloom. I have been to tulips festival in Melbourne, Australia in 1990. I think the tulips in Keukenhof is one of the best that I ever seen. Perhaps, I will visit Beijing, China to view the blooming tulips in the near future.
