On 11 06 2023 at the Lower Seletar Reservoir, prior to sunrise, the angler was already in action. I love the phenomenon of the Reservoir at dawn. The gorgeous landscape was all set for an eye-catching image. To capture the angler in silhouette at the decisive moment was utterly important. Fortunately, the ripple also formed at the right place at the right time to further enhance the image.
Immediately after I captured “Keep Practicing”, when the brilliant morning sun appeared, I found another vantage angle to capture another image of the man in exercise. The light and shadow impact were totally amazing for the image. It is still essential to capture the decisive moment within a split of second.
Usually, this area of the Lower Seletar Reservoir is fully occupied by the people practicing their exercise. On 04 02 2024 morning, somehow the location is deserted. Perhaps is due to lunar new year season is coming. But this regular user of the place just occupied himself for the morning exercise. I like the pattern and design of the ground area. Most importantly, to capture the decisive moment within a split of a second is a deciding factor to achieve maximum visual impact of the image.
