Landscape of Terrace Rice Field

Paddy fields in North Vietnam have its own uniqueness and attractions.
As a matter of facts, there are a number of awe landscapes of paddy fields in the world. Photographers always fascinated with the beauty of paddy field especially terrace field. The end result of the image depends very much on the natural lighting that is always changing fast in a split of seconds. This image captured few days ago in North Vietnam is one of the many images of paddy filed landscape that I like best in my collection.

Crystal Cloud

An art installation titled “Crystal Cloud” featuring 58,000 shimmering Swarovski beads on top of a hill in inYen Bai province, North Vietnam, attracting huge crowds recently. The refraction of crystal beads in the sun and the water’s surface makes a scene of rainbows on the terraced fields. It’s an unforgettable site for people who visit Mù Cang Chải during the event recently.
To me, actually, the original terrace rice field is already a masterpiece of art creation. I wonder whether the new art installation is going to ruin the charm of the field created by the farmer for the production of crops. Nevertheless, it is a new attraction for tourist to view the effect of the crystal under different lighting natural condition. For the photographer, is another resource of inspiration of capturing images of colour glittering patterns. I was fortunate to visit the place recently when the installation was not flooded with tourist.
The crystal cloud display is open until the beginning of harvest season in October.
