The Global architect I.M. Pei who designed Fragrant Hill Hotel, Beijing, China may not expect that 2015 was the best snowfall in this beautiful garden. I love the design of the garden. The touch of colourful Ginkgo Trees after the snowfall further enhanced this landscape further.
I didn’t expect to wake up at 3:52 am to enjoy the serenity of full moon night after the nasty blizzard in Wilmington, Delaware, USA. The lovely blue sky,the long shadow on the snow ground attracted me to shoot the image through my window from my host home. Most importantly, the warm glow from the lamp added a good colour to the whole image. Such a scene is too good to be missed even I have to sacrifice my sleep during the cold winter night.
Frankly speaking, I don’t know who created the tracks that leading to a pool of water. The purpose of such tracks are also unknown to me. Nevertheless, this is another winter scene that attracted me to capture an image. What I look for is a well-composed image. The rest is up to you to interpret. Another image that I captured from the vantage angle during my visit to the DuPont Environmental Education Centre of Delaware Nature Society, near the side of Christina River, Wilmington, Delaware, USA in January.
