My visit to Grand Teton National Park, USA, last October encountered an overcast groomy weather. But the weather condition gave me an opportunity of capturing this lovely reflection of the Jackson Lake. The difference in colour of the image created a good visual impact. I am off to USA again. This present trip is heading East to the New York region. Besides my presentations and judging session, hopefully I will return with more images to share with you later.
To me, a landscape study sometime do not require a magnificent scene. I was attracted by the colour of the remaining leaves against the pattern of dried branches. A simple and yet very distinctive image that I love. An ordinary scene that could be missed by most of us. This is an image that I came across during my last visit in Bath,England, in Nov 2015.
Putting up at Fragrant Hill Hotel, Beijing, let us experienced the first snowfall (Nov. 6th) of the year for 2015. Thousands of images of Xiangshan Park have been captured in the past. I have not come across a beautiful scene from this location. No wonder, the management of hotel mentioned that this snowfall is one of the best in the past thirty years. We were very fortunate to witness the scene and enjoyed the beauty of nature. Special thanks should go to the council of the 中国华侨摄影学会 for inviting us to participate in this lovely event.
