Cruising Along Picton Harbour

Cruising Along Picton Harbour
A closer view of the water area of Picton Harbour, New Zealand, captured from the vantage point on the Snout Track. I love the rhythm of the waves. Further more, the quality of morning lighting condition added a very strong visual impact for the image. For me, this pleasing image is one of best images that is hard to come by.

Rainbow Colours

Rainbow Colours
While I was capturing “Stepping Stone”, I turned round and saw this sight behind me. Fortunately, I still had the last frame on my CF card. I like the contrast between the rainbow and the while clouds against the blue sky. Perhaps such a scene is common in New Zealand. Obviously, this scene is not the first and definitely not the last that I have seen during my recent trip in New Zealand.

Magnificent View Of Lake Rotoiti

Magnificent View Of Lake Rotoiti
Before I posted this image, I discovered many images of Lake Rotoiti, Nelson Lakes, in the South Island of New Zealand, have been captured.
Actually, when we arrived the West Bay of Lake Rotoiti, the weather was very bad. I was looking for a framing for this enchanting landscape. Obviously, I found this tree and decided to use it as a framing. The image shown here is my perception (which is slightly different from others) of this beautiful sight of the landscape. Another image captured by Eng Loy at this location showed an outstanding view as well.
