Dawn At Sanur

Before the sunrise, the mood of the sky could be quite mysterious. Even the water from the sea could be calm. I was greeted with such a view just outside the cottage that I stayed at the Inna Grand Bali Beach Hotel.

The wonder of landscape photography is depending very much on the weather condition. You may visit the same location again and yet is able to capture the beauty of nature at a different mood. My previous post of “Kintamani Revisited” captured the landscape in a cooler mood. During my recent visit in June, I am very pleased to have another opportunity of capturing another image of Kintamani with a much warmer touch.

While driving on my way to Yosemite from San Francisco, I was fascinated by the wind mills on the slope. I was fortunate to have a place to stop by the roadside. I love the contrast of the warm and cold colours of scene. The patchy lighting effect provided extra pictorial impact for the image. I am sure you could notice the wind mills were rotating at a different speed. The touch of cloud formation is just sufficient to add interest to the entire image.
