“Sunrise At Tynemouth” by Eng Loy is a glorious image of the sunrise. This is my version of the sunrise at the same location. A revisit to the same pier after a lapse of 12 years, my recent trip was proven to be as fruitful as the previous one.
Though “The Wave of North Sea” is still one of my favorite image at this location, I think sunrise at the same site has a different mood.
This image was captured at the Science Centre, Glasgow. After a scattered shower, the twilight arrived with gorgeous colours. I found the architectural design of the building is very interesting. Certainly, this shot I managed was rewarding due to the golden touch of the twilight on the building itself. After several trips to the side of the River Clyde near the Glasgow harbour, I realize this area is full of photographic potential.
As also Shown in “Twilight Time At The Clyde Arc”, the image is just one of many pictures that I have captured in this area.
“Bromo, Land of the Fire God” is an invitational exhibition organized by Pak Sigit Pramono. The exhibition featured 25 photographers coming from different disciplines and professions presents visual messages in celebration of the Tenggerese people, culture, environment and existence. This is one of my two contributions in this invitational exhibition that has been launched at the Gallery of the Java Banana Bromo Lodge on the 15th November 2008. The exhibition will be held until Feb. 2009. Thereafter, the exhibition will move to Jakarta for another month.
