After we left the Mount Cook Village, we decided to stop over Peter’s Lookout. This is the recommended scenic spot to view Mount Cook. Though I had already captured the image entitled “Suspension Cloud Over Lake Pukaki” earlier, I still decided to capture this image of Mount Cook from a different viewpoint.
One of our itineraries for New Zealand trip is to visit Mount Cook Village. After I captured the image of “Cloud Suspension Over Lake Pukaki”, finally we arrived at our destination. The mid-day lighting brightly lighted the Mount Cook. The cloud was quite dramatic for this particular landscape. I managed to capture this image before the cloud fully covered the tips of Mount Cook. In comparing with my “ Moon Rise at Mount Cook”, the visual impact of this image is totally different.
Seven minutes after capturing my previous posting, I aimed my camera toward the opposite direction. The sky appeared totally different. I managed to capture another image with dramatic visual impact within the area of Lake Tekapo.
