While I was having my outing at Mount Bromo and Banten, Indonesia, my friends Agatha and Tatang would like me to try their digital infra-red camera. Share with you the image that I captured during my visit.
Those days when I was shooting infra-red on film, I had never thought of the advancement of technology; one day would allow us to capture an infra-red image by either using a digital camera or by using a soft ware to achieve the similar result. Nowadays, it is much more simple to do infra-red photography without going into the chemical process in the darkroom.

This image of Borobudur was taken almost one year ago. Actually, I visited Borobudur in May and attended the Vesak Day celebration. I went back again in July. I was relief to see Borobudur intact even after Jogyakarta was shaken by the serious earthquake(27.05.2006). Both of my visits were my commitment of serving in the panel of selector for the Vesak Photographic Competition. I was rather pleased to be at Borobudur again to sense the serenity of the place, especially after the judging of the competition. The warm colour of the morning sun added colour to the monochromatic setting of the environment.
