Sun rises every day and is common subject in photography. But to capture an image of gorgeous sunrise depends very much on the weather. On 09 10 2023 at the Lower Seletar Reservoir, the scenery of soft sunrise with gorgeous colour was spectacular. With preselection of appropriate silhouette as foreground at the anticipation of the location of the rising sun is essential for an eye-catching image.
On 22 01 2022 at the Lower Seletar Reservoir, interesting to spot a patch of warm coloured cloud across the sky before the sun appeared. The gorgeous cloud provided perfect contrast for the phenomenon of the landscape. It was perfect setting for an eye-catching image.
Though the notice of the Upper Peirce Reservoir stated that the fine for fishing at the prohibited area is $3000/-, it is common to see angler still around to fish. On 24 02 2024, I spotted another young angler fishing at the Reservoir. I was contented to witness after the big fish was caught, he released the fish into the pound. Apparently, he was aware the importance of having fish in the water to maintain the condition of the water.
