The initial attraction was from the reflection in the water. Later, I located the flowers growing in the pond. An impression that gave me the idea of having the reflections with movement and turned into curves forming the base of the image. The different colours combination presented with good contrast. Most importantly, the difference between movement of the reflections and the plant created an interesting final image. An image that I captured at the Sand on 27 02 2011.
When I visited the Guan Hai Chang Lang (Seashore Long Corridor Park), along Haipin Road, Shantou, China in Aug 2019, I was attracted by the ever-changing pattern of the water reflections. I decided to capture the image with the proper setting of shutter speed on my camera. The end result resembles the art of ink, a branch of Chinese Painting. I love the unusual impact of monochromatic visual impact of the image.
From a vantage angle, I captured two different design of structure in the same image. The different in structure provided good contrast for the image. The lighting created an interesting pattern and further boost up the visual impact for the entire image, I love the simplicity of the whole setting.
