During the same visit to Tekka Market, besdies capturing “For A Few Dollars More”, I came across another coulourful image of a beef seller.
When the new market is ready, I just wonder whether I will still be able to have such an elevated viewpoint.
While I was searching a new image for “Singapore Today, Singapore National Day Postage Stamps Issue 2008” by Singpost, I came across this image in our Botanic Gardens. I was attracted by the landmark of the garden with the touch of morning light on one of the old trees.
I personally quite like this image simply due to the quality of lighting, though this particular one was not selected for the stamps.
“Flower Sellers” in the earlier posting is one of my two images being selected for the Singapore National Day Stamps 2008.
Another image from my Lakeside collections that shows the quality of light is essential for a study of a scenic location. This time I captured the image in the late afternoon. I like the warnth colour of the low light that provided me with the dramatic impact for the whole picture.
