Reflections Of Glasgow Harbour

Reflections Of Glasgow Harbour 2007
The architectural design and structure of the new BBC Building in Glasgow set the repetitive pleasing composition for this image. The mirror image of the opposite side of the River Clyde from the highly reflective panels of the building formed a rather oustanding scene. The magic touch of the twilight further enhanced the visual impact of this picture. AS a matter of facts, the building was not even officially opened when I captured this image in last July. This is one of the images that I like from my Glasgow collections.

Sophy Cave’s Expression

When I passed by the “Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum yesterday, reminded me of this image that I captured during my last visit one year ago.
The unique hanging display in this Art Gallery provided me with an opportunity to capture another attractions of Glasgow. The fast changing lighting effect created for the display apparently enriched the art works with more lifely presentation.
“Putting Up A Cheeky Face” captured by Eng Loy showed another creative viewpoint of the display in this world class museum.

George Square is just within a stone’s throw from the Gallery of Modern Art. At present, the Square is still the centre for mercantile activity. Glasgow’s public statues within the square, display the wealth and history of the city of Glasgow, Scotland. I was attracted by the touch of lighting on one the statues. Waited for the right moment before I clicked the shutter. The warmth colour and unique architectural design of one of the great commercial buildings in the subdued backdrop further enhanced the visual impact. At present, I am back in Glasgow again after my visit one year ago. I will try to visit the Square again to seek new inspiration of this famous location.
