In June last year, my second outing to the Isle of Skye was a wet one. The raining day didn’t clear up until the end of the day. I managed to capture this image when the sky starting to clear. Though the lighting was still on the softer end, I like the scene created by the sudden change of the weather. The bird that flew into the picture added visual impact in addition to the building that occupied the site.
When I think of Oban,
I remember the fresh oyster, in addition to the McCaig’s Tower amphitheatre.
Strolling along the port area especially before the sunset is a very rewarding experience for photography. Oban Bay definitely is one of most colourful ports in north-west Scotland that I have ever photographed,
We went back to Windermere in the Lake District Area in the UK again last July. This time we arrived in the afternoon. Despite of the gloomy weather, on the spur of the moment the lighting added sparkle to the whole image. It gave me an opportunity of capturing another image similar to “ First Light At Bowness On Windermere”. Another image “Left Behind At Windermere” captured by Eng Loy is equally well composed.
