While I was at Conistion Water, I captured another image with strong monochromatic effect. To me, the glittering water has pleasing aesthetic value. Though such a scene is not a colourful one, I personally touch by the setting that pack with soothing pleasure.
This is another image that I captured during my trip to Coniston Water. I think good contrast, simplicity and with strong monochromatic effect are factors that motivate me to squeeze the shutter. Able to capture a decisive moment is obviously an added bonus for a lively image.
During our trip in October, one of the beautiful lakes that we visited was Coniston Water. The lake is the 3rd largest lake in the Lake District. I captured the steam yacht gondola “The Lady of the Lake” leaving the pier for another cruise of the lake. Under the backlit condition, the smoke emitting from the gondola added good atmosphere to the entire image.
