My very brief visit to the Catalina State Park, was a worthwhile trip before we left Tucson, Arizona, USA. I think the Park is one of the state parks not to be missed if photographing cacti is your cup of tea. I was fortunate to have an optimum weather during my visit.
Hundreds of image of Tarian Sanghyang Jaran, have been captured by photographers. The popularity of photographing this event, perhaps is due to its difficulty of capturing the right moment of the boy riding the Kuda Lumping in and around a fire. The excitement of having a good image usually is a challenge for photographers.My recent experience of this sacred Balinese dance was an event arranged for the Annual Meeting of the Nusantara Photo Club in Bali.
I think Horseshoe Bend,Arizona,USA, is one the most photographed canyon. The canyon is just outside Page,USA. I realize to capture the image of the canyon at the vantage point is quite danger. One has to be at the edge of canyon (without any barrier) in order to have the entire image of the bend. With extreme cautious, the view of canyon is worthwhile viewing and capturing the image.
