Ripples

I love the repetitive pattern created by ripples. They are like rhythm to me. I captured this image at one of beautiful dune lakes, an easy detour from Levin, New Zealand.

Traveling from Nelson to Blenheim, New Zealand, we came across this magnificent sight lit up by sunbeams. We were so attracted by the sight and just had to stop our vehicle by the roadside in order to capture the scene. “Sunbeams Over Mount Richmond” is another outstanding images by Eng Loy captured at the same location.

On Our way down to Wellington from Central North, we arrived at the Paraparaumu Beach, New Zealand. We were just in time to make full use of the twilight. The golden colour of the setting sun in contrast to the blue hue due to the difference in white balance, provided me with gorgeous colour. The activities of the children obviously enhanced the visual impact further.
