Ngaben is a cremation ceremony in Bali to send the deceased to the next life. As it is an unique ceremony in Bali, usually it is an attraction for the locals as well as tourists.

Interesting to note that the Indonesians are practicing a traditional Chinese treatment in a cubicle of Pasar Legi,Solo. The setting was so unique that attracted me to capture this image. You may have noted I used a very high ISO to shoot this image. Obviously the ambient light was rather weak.

The recent visit to Solo for the Nusantara Photo Club outing, coincided with a birthday celebration of a Chinese temple, Tien Kok Sie. A rare occasion of seeing lion dance by the young Indonesians. I like the colourful lions especially when the young one showing his face to check the order of his performing partner.
